Functional Skills qualifications are recognised by employers, colleges and training providers across the UK, providing an excellent alternative pathway for learners who may find GCSEs challenging or who have experienced barriers to mainstream education.

What Are Functional Skills?
Functional Skills are nationally recognised qualifications in English and Maths, designed to equip learners with the practical skills they need for everyday life, further education and employment. They are accepted by colleges, apprenticeship providers and employers across the UK and provide an excellent alternative to GCSEs for many learners.
